Women's Wild Coast Adventure - Spring

Service Description

On this adventure we base ourselves in a hidden away National Trust bunkhouse in the Gower Peninsula, Wales. Nestled among pine trees and sand dunes and far away from the madding crowds, with native Welsh ponies and the sound of wild silence for company. The bunkhouse will be our warm and safe base from which we adventure into the surrounding landscape of the Gower Peninsula. With its woodlands, beaches and wild marshland, our journey will stretch far beyond the safety of the bunkhouse up on to the coastal paths and wild sandy beaches. This adventure is an opportunity to remember our place in the vastness of history, using deep time to give us a radical perspective on our lives and existence today. We’ll explore this together through swimming in the sea, trekking, story-telling, reflecting, playing, sharing and creating. Our journey starts at 2pm on the Friday on a wild sandy beach in the North Western part of The Gower Peninsula and finishes by 2pm on the Monday. Option to travel by car (all directions will be provided on booking) or by train with free station pick up & return from Swansea train station (just 3 hours from London).
